WRINKLES?
Blame it on the Sun!
Children move their face muscles all day long and don’t get lines or wrinkles. The lines occur because our skin is damaged by the SUN. The normal collagen and elastin matrix that comprises our skin gets damaged and creates abnormal, sun-damaged elastic fibers. In addition this sun-exposure degrades our collagen. Where normal skin is 80% collagen and 4 % elastic fiber mesh network, sun-damaged skin can be as much as 80% abnormal elastic fibers, clumps of abnormal elastin tissue. |
